Save Our Mother Earth is a youth-led non-profit organization combating climate change through education, advocacy, and activism — from Pakistan to the world.
Save Our Mother Earth (SOME) is a youth-led Non-Profit Organization founded in 2022 by a young Pakistani girl with a vision to create a sustainable future for all generations. What began as a small digital platform with a handful of volunteers has grown into a fully structured organization with a dedicated team by 2024.
We aim to combat climate-related problems and make the Earth more sustainable for future generations by focusing on the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) set by the United Nations. Our work spans climate education, digital advocacy, community outreach, and international collaboration.
Through digital platforms and physical grassroots projects, we connect youth activists, climate educators, and community leaders across Pakistan and internationally to drive meaningful climate action.
Started during the Covid-19 pandemic as a response to Pakistan's worsening smog and pollution crisis affecting marginalized communities.
Initially a digital platform, now with a fully working team of 25+ members and a structured organizational hierarchy.
Working towards achieving at least 5 of the UN's 17 Sustainable Development Goals before 2030.
Partnering with organizations like Pakistan Youth Climate Network, Fridays For Future, and Mock COP Youth Network.
Khadijah Safdar is a 19-year-old climate activist from Lahore, Pakistan. During the Covid-19 lockdown, she witnessed firsthand how SMOG and pollution had devastated her country and especially its marginalized communities — and recognized that if left untreated, it could potentially destroy the Earth.
Driven by this realization, she founded Save Our Mother Earth and pursued climate activism, changemaking, and storytelling to educate youth about climate change and ways to prevent it through awareness, advocacy, and activism.
Her work bridges the gap between local climate realities in Pakistan and global climate discourse, amplifying the voices of indigenous, minority, and climate-affected communities through documentaries, podcasts, and digital campaigns.
We strive to protect the planet through education, advocacy, and activism — empowering the youth of today to build a sustainable world for tomorrow.
Providing climate education to youth in Pakistan and internationally through digital means, making vital knowledge accessible to all.
Connecting with international activists for upcycling, reforestation, climate art, and producing documentaries for climate-affected communities.

Amplifying marginalized voices through podcasts, guest speaker programs, and digital campaigns reaching millions worldwide.
